Bandolero w/ Hayden Haddock

Bandolero celebrates the spirit and music of the Grateful Dead, as well as other like-minded visionary roots rock icons. We call this “keeping it family.”

Neighbors Paul Corliss (lead vocals) and Tom Relihan (guitar) began shaping what would eventually become Bandolero the way many bands get their start — sweating out songs in the garage. In the same spirit of keeping it family, Tom talked his father — Michael Relihan (bass) — into jamming with the band and soon Bandolero was formed. James O’Neill added acoustic guitar and backing vocals, while Dallas icon Valenti Funk gave the band credibility on drums.

With its core in tact, Bandolero experimented with various line-ups before connecting with veteran guitar ace Roy Lyle. Joining Bandolero in 2018, Lyle quickly elevated the band’s sound — dazzling fans at live shows with his own Texas-style interpretation of Jerry Garcia. His versatility as a player aligns well with Bandolero’s eclectic live performance that includes one full set of Grateful Dead material, fused together with a complimentary mix of rock, reggae and outlaw country.

Bandolero has grown from humble beginnings in North Dallas to become one of Dallas-Fort Worth’s favorite Grateful Dead-influenced rock bands — one with a distinctive Texas twist.
